I AM NOT KIDDING - the curse of 1420 W. Penn. Ave has finally been broken. On December 28, 2017, the charismatic Miguel Montes, renowned for his chocolates and caramels and now living at 1420 W. Penn. Ave., courageously accepted the challenge to play roof golf despite his right hand being broken and in a plaster cast. The crowd heavily bet on the Director of the HALL OF ORG because Miguel (1) had never played roof golf before, (2) was only able to use the thumb and forefinger of his right hand, and (3) no one living at 1420 West Penn. Ave had been inducted despite many, many attempts. In the first inning, Miguel launched a high arcing shot striking ORG's right eye. Everyone gasped in amazement, but the boisterous crowd still believed the Director would surely prevail. But despite his best efforts, the Director was unable to match Miguel's consistently skillful shots. I know some will say this write-up is fake news - but (like someone else we all know) they would be so wrong. For you doubters, Miguel has promised, upon request, that he will demonstrate his plaster-cast swing and you can see for yourself that Miguel is a most worthy inductee.
