March 1, 2014 will always be remembered at the HALL OF ORG. As many of you know, for years and years members of the renowned Harty clan from Amherst, New York have repeatedly traveled thousands of miles to ORG without any success. Liam, one of the better looking Hartys, arrived at the HALL OF ORG on a stormy, raining day with lightening overhead. The Director declared the conditions unplayable and closed the roof, but relented to Liam's pleas. The Director assuredly predicted "there will be no ORGING today!" After several matches, it appeared the Director's prediction was accurate as Liam and his cousin Connor kept the Harty non-orging streak alive. Just as everyone was getting ready for dinner and the lightening increasing, lovely Jamie arrived, and Liam promptly begged for one more chance to ORG. The Director again acquiesced to Liam's seemingly pointless request. As expected, the first two innings were scoreless. However, a moment which will never be fully understood, in his last-at-bats, Liam bellowed "I'm feeling ORG." Into the blustery headwinds, Liam launched a shot to the ficus guarding ORG. His ball ricocheted like a pin ball and then suddenly dropped onto ORG's left shoulder. The Director proclaimed an ORG, and the drenched crowd erupted with amazement. But then some began to wonder and question the Director's proclamation - did Liam really ORG or was it just our collective wishful thinking, all the while Alice was muttering to herself - "what do you expect after Liam drank one of my Nutribullet smoothies." Fortunately, Connor had recorded Liam's swing and ensuing ORG which silenced the doubters. They only remaining questions are - (1) has the Harty's longstanding jinx of non-orging now been broken, and (2) if so, will Patricia be the next Harty inductee? The HALL OF ORG has no favorite inductee, but it must be noted that no one has ever ORGED in such adverse conditions. If you run into Liam in LA during the filming of The Millers or when he is peddling his trucker t-shirts in Santa Monica, give him a HARTY congratulations for his startling but well deserved induction.
